Toronto’s Billy Talent are set to released their third full-length album next month and this week announced that Billy Talent III will be available as a special deluxe edition featuring a full second disc.
It’s not that the special edition has a second disc that’s so impressive though. It’s the songs featured on the bonus disc that are so interesting. The band have nick-named the deluxe edition the “Guitar Villain” version because the second disc will contain all 11 tracks on Billy Talent III WITHOUT guitars. This way, the biggest of fans can play along.
Also included on the bonus disc will be four early demo versions of tracks “Tears Into Wine”, “White Sparrows”, “Pocketful of Dreams” and “Turn Your Back”. Here is the full track-listing for Billy Talent III;

Billy Talent will be playing a number of festivals this summer including Edgefest in Toronto on June 20th, Rock on the Range in Winnipeg on June 27th, opening slots for Rise Against and Rancid in the U.S. through July plus the prestigious Reading and Leeds festivals in the U.K. in late August.
