This video, featuring a new song from the forth-coming album …And the Ever Expanding Universe by the Most Serene Republic, was created without any input from the band or the label, but it is phenomenal!
Jerome Holeyman is a native of Belgium living in California and is the man responsible for this fantastic video. Arts & Crafts and tMSR approached Holeyman after seeing this video and asked to post the it on their respective web sites to which he told us that it “is possibly the most flattering thing I could have gotten out of it.” Viewers in YouTube have made comments that they should make this the official video for the song and I tend to agree.
He runs his own music blog (charlatantric.) and scours video footage from the public domain to create music videos. He has created other videos for tMSR including new songs “Heavens to Purgatory” and “All of One is the Other“. “I like to scour through random video feeds until I find clips that capture the aesthetic of the song I’m working on, then just edit it down to match the tempo and apply some sort of narrative,” he said, adding ” Both a simple and complicated task.”
