Since things fell apart in 2002-2003, there have been countless Blur reunion rumours, none of which panned out. So what about this time?
Well, this time the rumour gives way to reality as front-man Damon Albarn revealed to NME that the British act have booked a performance in London’s Hyde Park on July 3rd, 2009. Tickets are set to go on sale this Friday, December 12th.
The last time Blur performed with it’s full line-up including guitarist Graham Coxon was in 2002. Their last album, “Think Tank” (of which Coxon only appears on one track) had mixed reviews but managed to grab the number one spot on the UK charts, even if only for a short time.
