You may recall hearing about the Bronx this year, either through us or through their appearance at this year’s Sled Island Festival (or both, considering we featured them as a Sled Island Featured Artist). Although I missed their show, word on the street was it was fantastic.
As fantastic as this video for the song “Past Lives” from the album the Bronx (III)? Who knows, and I have no idea if the footage within is staged or stock footage from the glory days of break-dancing but it’s entertaining none-the-less.
Mariachi El Bronx (their Hispanic, mariachi alter-egos) recently released their fourth (or debut) album with a secret show in L.A. last month.
